Wilton, located in the southwestern area of Connecticut on the Fairfield County border of Westchester County, NY, is “New England” in charm, spirit, architecture and historic stone walls offering the hometown feeling of a small town but enhanced by the “quality of life” that is uniquely Wilton.

The town of Wilton is serviced by the Metro North commuter train to NYC and Amtrak has added the high-speed Acela Express to its passenger rail service. Major interstates – 84, 91 and 95 connect with state and federal highways and local roads. The scenic Merritt Parkway is often traveled for its convenience. Bradley International Airport, CT and JFK and LaGuardia, NY offer both national and international flights within 75 minutes. Thus, commuters to New York City, Stamford, Greenwich, White Plains and travelers near and far are conveniently accommodated.

Enjoy our four seasons with antique hunting, planting the garden, sorting through freshly picked corn at roadside stands and experiencing our organic farm produce. Sample apple cider and pumpkin picking from local farms while savoring the beauty of magnificent fall foliage in anticipation of the crystal backdrop for ice skating and cross country skiing.

Wilton takes great pride in its national award winning education system. It continues to be recognized as one of the top 100 school districts in the country. The town’s 3,115 public school students attend two elementary schools for Grades K-2, one elementary school serving Grades 3-5, a middle school for Grades 6-8 and Wilton High School for Grades 9-12. provide the community’s youth with strong academic basics and important extras. Wilton has an extensive school system dedicated to its children featuring interdisciplinary instruction teams in languages and science, mathematics, social studies, computers and art and also provides gifted student instruction.
